Please read the following specific points of liability carefully (the school is not responsible for any ignorance regarding the school’s fee and refund policy).

SPECIFIC POINTS OF LIABILITY

 

01). School fees are invoiced on the first day of each month and are payable by the last working day on/before the 10th of that month. Otherwise, penalties shall apply.

            02). The due date to pay the fees via cheque at the school is the first working day on/after the 5th of that month. Otherwise, penalties shall apply.

03). Tuition fees not paid by the due date attract a late fee of 10%- per month, per child.

Note– Unpaid late fees penalty shall accumulate and be deducted when the child withdraws. In the case, the dues exceed your security deposit a school leaving certificate will not be issued. The school reserve the right to initiate a legal proceeding to recover unpaid dues.

            04). Please note that school fees for the upcoming academic years are subject to change (as per Government policies).

05). Editing of the fee challan of any kind is strictly prohibited. We reserve the right to initiate legal proceedings if any such instances are found.

            06). Late payment of tuition fees for two consecutive months shall lead to the termination of your child’s enrolment.

In case of a misplaced or lost fee voucher, an extra Rs.100 will be charged to issue a new one.

07). The Admission Fee, Capital Assessment, and Tuition Fee are Non-refundable and are Not Pro-rated according to Attendance.

            08).  Notice Period deposit (NPD) is refundable when a child completes Year 8 or adjustable if a full-term notice (after completion of one academic year) is given in writing. Refundable only after all outstanding debts are settled.

08a).  A student who has been suspended or expelled for reasons relating to student academic misconduct or student general misconduct will not be entitled to a refund of the Security deposit.

School withdrawal ApplicationOne term’s notice or Two Full Term notices (for care program) must be given in writing, to the Directors, of the intention to withdraw a student from the school\ or one/two term’s fee in lieu of will be payable immediately^^. Students currently enrolled in the Early Learning Centre (4-Year-Old) or Year 6 will be required to confirm their intention to stay for the following year by the end of Dec.

            09). Leaving before the notice term has expired: – You may leave the school before the notice term has expired but still you have to clear the monthly tuition fee for the complete notice term (three months/6 months) and all other dues if any, to obtain a leaving certificate and get your NPD refunded.

09a). Policy rationale– The school wants to assure it will have full classes; after which we turn away parents looking to enroll in that class this measure is a deterrent to prevent late or unusual dropouts and it is also a measure against parents who enroll at GCS as a fall-back option

            10). Payment of Admission Fee/CAF due when the application is filed and non-refundable.

11). Stationery cost is not covered in the fee structure.

Note: -Ensuring timely receipt of fee vouchers is the parent’s responsibility.

We may, at any time, and at our sole discretion, modify these Terms and Conditions, including our Privacy Policy, with or without notice. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting.

 

Recovery of unpaid fees

  1. In fairness to families who pay their school fees regularly and on time, our school will follow up on all overdue school fee accounts.
  2. A reminder statement/notice/letter will be issued within 7 days to any family who has not settled their school fee account by the due date where a payment plan or other arrangements are not in place.
  3. If payment or a suitable response is not received within 7 days of the reminder statement, contact with the parent will be made via telephone/email.
  4. If after two weeks from this second reminder satisfactory arrangements have not been reached, the account may be sent to the school Debt Collection agency. In serious cases, where there is a clear capacity to pay outstanding fees, legal options may be pursued by the school.
  5. Legal costs, of any debt collection costs or other costs incurred, will be at the family’s expense.
