At GCS, we boast inclusivity. We serve our community honestly while planting the seed of awareness and acceptance in our next generation.

At GCS, most kids with learning and attention issues (after settling in) spend most of their time in general education classrooms. All of our classrooms are inclusive classrooms and the general education teacher and special education teacher work together to meet your child’s needs.

We believe that students with special needs deserve to be treated equally to normal students.

At GCS, we use both collaborative team teaching or co-teaching (With collaborative team teaching or co-teaching, there’s a special education teacher in the room if needed) and push in model (special education teachers “push-in” at specific times during the day to teach instead of pulling kids out of class to a separate room).

Studies show that inclusion is beneficial for all students—not just those who receive special education services.

We are capable and fully equipped to support students with intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder, students with sensory impairment, and students with learning difficulties or behavior disorders.
